Introduced by the China-IMF Capacity Development Center (CICDC), Ms. Grace Lang, Deputy Director of the China Country Office (CCO) of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), and her delegation visited the Shenzhen Financial Training Center (the Center) on the afternoon of February 28, 2023. The two sides had a preliminary exchange on their respective businesses and discussed possible collaboration on future CICDC training courses.

The Center briefed the BMGF delegation on the modalities and facilities of the Center as well as the set-up of CICDC training programs undertaken in the Center since June 2018. Ms. Grace Lang in turn gave a general introduction of the BMGF’s operations in China and expressed the CCO’s interest in CICDC courses on subjects of inclusive growth,women’s economic empowerment, green finance, etc. The two sides also  exchanged initial thoughts on jointly promoting and developing CICDC curriculum  in the future. Ms. Grace Lang and her delegation also visited the main functional areas of the Center and the training facilities dedicated to CICDC courses.
