The CICDC presented a pilot virtual workshop on Debt Sustainability Analysis and IMF Policies on July 10-17, 2020. The workshop was taught by staff from the IMF’s Strategy, Policy, and Review Department, Institute for Capacity Development, and Legal Department. There were 30 participants from a variety of Chinese agencies and development financial institutions. Topics covered in the workshop included the IMF-World Bank debt sustainability framework for low-income countries (LIC DSF), debt restructuring, and the role of the IMF in the global architecture for debt resolution.
