The CICDC presented a virtual workshop on Debt Sustainability Analysis and IMF Policies from August 29 to September 9, 2022. The course was delivered by staff from the IMF’s Strategy, Policy, and Review Department, and Legal Department. The course was attended by 28 participants from 12 agencies in China, including People's Bank of China, National Development and Reform Commission, etc. The course presents an overview of the tools available to assist with debt sustainability analysis, with a special focus on how to use them to assess cases where debt is not sustainable and resolution is needed. It also covers the global architecture for debt resolution. The course was well received by the participants.
